• Çukurova University, working in cooperation with the Quality Commission, identifies the needs of the society in the region, plans and implements the type and scope of activities and the method of implementation.
• It constantly renews its education and training processes in order to raise graduates who are open to learning, research, development, questioning, committed to core values, sensitive to social problems, have scientific thinking, analytical, solution-oriented, preferred in national and international employment, capable of taking part in national and international organizations, self-confident, effective and well-equipped in their field, and encourages students to participate in scientific studies, all kinds of cultural/social activities and community contribution activities.
• In order to create an awareness of social contribution, it prioritizes the cooperation between Student Clubs and Social Contribution Coordinatorship for students to prepare and implement social responsibility projects, and directs volunteer students to analyze social problems, produce solutions and contribute.
• Supports academicians, research groups and students to focus on solutions to social needs and problems in the region and even in the country in order to transform Research and Development (R&D) and Product Development (P&D) activities into social contributions.
• In order to realize new ideas and inventions based on science and technology, new products or improvement projects, TUBITAK, International Project Support Programs, KOSGEB etc. It conducts studies to encourage project preparation and submissions to institutions.
• Carries out studies to develop Public-University-Industry-International collaborations.
• Plans and implements trainings and projects aimed at protecting the endemic plant and animal species and genetic resources of the region.
• It prepares action plans for the protection and promotion of the region's historical and archaeological monuments and aims to cooperate with external stakeholders in this context.
• It aims to be in continuous cooperation with the community for the promotion, safe production, dissemination and sustainability of local products and foods.
• It takes the lead in protecting public health, implementing correct-early diagnosis and effective treatment methods, conducting awareness trainings on important diseases, and ensuring that the society has access to quality and safe health services.
• For external stakeholders, each unit that is a component of Çukurova University, especially the Continuing Education Center, plans community outreach activities (trainings, courses, distance education activities, workshops, etc.) Especially with the voluntary guidance-counseling sub-working group formed from students, it conducts studies on campus life, life in Adana, adaptation to the campus / Adana, campus-city components, introduction of the cultural, sociological, environmental features of the city for students who will start Çukurova University.
• Plans and implements sustainable trainings that prioritize loving, protecting and improving the basic components of the universe we live in such as soil, water, animals/plants, biodiversity, forests, ecological balance, global warming, environmental pollution, waste recycling together with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinates support activities in the field of basic education and secondary education for individuals in need in the community, such as guidance-counseling and course reinforcement.
• Plans and implements trainings on child-family communication skills for parents.
• Provides education and skill acquisition support to disadvantaged groups in society
• Supports all kinds of educational programs aimed at identifying/solving social problems in the units covering social sciences.
• In all units within the scope of Basic Sciences, it encourages all kinds of activities aimed at the importance/promotion of basic sciences, identifying/solving community problems.
• It aims to cooperate with the community and external stakeholders to promote and improve the region's natural resources, historical artifacts, archaeological assets, and the University's Health Services with a focus on tourism.
• Aims to share the experiences and opportunities of the University's Faculty of Sports Sciences with the society with the motto of sports-healthy life
• Develops projects with local governments to coordinate issues addressing urban poverty prevention.
